An exhibition on reproductive health and sex lore is being held in Shijiazhuang, capital of north China's Hebei Province.
The exhibition aims to widen people's knowledge of sex and help change their ideas about sex.
The exhibition is in four sections. The first part offers information on reproductive health and sex, and venereal diseases; the second part shows more than 200 objects that reflect sex culture during different periods of Chinese history; the third part displays new sexual health products and the fourth part provides video programs on AIDS prevention.
Sex has traditionally been a sensitive topic in China. In the past, most people were too embarrassed to talk about it openly.
According to exhibition visitor Wang Hua, a doctor, people need such an exhibition, so they can get more scientific information about sex and adopt a healthy attitude toward it.
