The ancient track road in Shaoxing County of east China's Zhejiang Province, a cultural relics unit under key national protection, is to become more beautiful and attractive in the near future as the county government kicked off a 15-million-yuan project aiming at learing up the environemnt around the ancient track road recently.
In recent years, for reasons of one kind or another, the environment along the ancient track road is far from satisfactory.
So after the county government moved to Keqiao, the government put forward a specific plan to protect the ancient track road.
It is learnt that all buildings along the 2.7-km-long section from Kehua Bridge to Xingyi Bridge that affect nearby environment have been dismantled so far.
In addition, an afforestation project along the old track road is also under way.
The whole project is expected to be completed late this year.
