Air China is to add 314 more extra and charter flights to its normal schedule in the upcoming National day holiday.
From September 30 to October 7, Air China will join hands with the tourism administration to promote the traveling week. The number of domestic charter flights will total 166, and the number of extra flights will amount to 77. The major destinations for the extra flights are located in southern China, such as Guangzhou, Haikou, Sanya and Mount Wuyi.
The number of extra and charter flights to other countries will be 71, including those to Japan, Korea and Australia. Many of these will be overnight flights.
The Tianjin branch of Air China has been providing extra flights at this time of year for over ten years. This year, it has established more routes to Japan, making travel between the two countries much easier.
