The Second China Folk Shaoxing Opera Festival will be held from Nov. 28-30 in Shengzhou city of east China's Zhejiang Province, known as "China's Hometown of Shaoxing Opera", according to a source with the organizing committee of the festival on Sunday.

Famous Shaoxing opers artists, including 18 Plum Blossom Award winners such as Wang Bingmei, Zhao Xiezhi and Wu Fenghua, are expected to attend the festival and will held exchanges with their local counterparts.

The festival is co-sponsored by Shengzhou Municipal Government and China Society of Drama Literature.
