Shanghai will build up a ticket sales network for long-distance transportation,local land transport officials said.
It aims that in the near future,locals can buy long-distance bus tickets or check relative information in supermarkets,chain stores and many other businesses near their homes.
This move is in response to complaints from travelers about the inconvenience of buying tickets.
Shanghai has 45 long-distance bus centers,handling 2,800 bus trips everyday to more than 6,000 places throughout the country.However,the bus centers was dispersed and disorderly,making it inconvenient for many people to purchase tickets.
