Gold Dagoba on Vajrasana in Nanjing Museum of Jiangsu Province
Built in the Ming Dynasty, this inverted-bowl-shaped gold dagoba rests right in the middle of a square stone platform base. The four blue porcelain jars standing at the four corners of the platform and the gold dagoba in the center make a typical layout for vajrasana pagodas. In front of the dagoba there is a seated statue of Sakyamuni in nirvana, which makes the dagoba distinctive among all vajrasana pagodas in the country.
