Taiping Dagoba at Ta'er Temple in Huangzhong of Qinghai Province
The dagoba stands in the square in front of the Small Jinwa Temple inside Taler Temple. It was named Taiping (Peace) because it was taken as a symbol of peace. The dagoba has a very high five-tiered base and a relatively small main body in the shape of an inverted bowl. The thirteen-tier main body of the steeple tapers sharply and the canopy is slender and tall. The dagoba has a unique style and is an important example of later Lamaist dagobas.
