A research report from global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company Accenture shows that Chinese enterprises have witnessed rapid revenue increases in recent years, but lag behind their overseas counterparts regarding profitable growth margins.
Mark Foster, Group Chief Executive of Business Consulting & Integrated Markets, Accenture Ltd., offered some tips to help Chinese enterprises to expand into the global market. He spoke at the just-concluded Inaugural Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2007 hosted by the World Economic Forum.
According to Foster, Chinese enterprises must first focus on the market and understand the needs of their potential customers; second, these companies need to train their human resources to concentrate more on efficiency and streamline their operations; third, they need to consider the interests of their shareholders when making decisions.
