Mr. Zhou Mingwei was born in Shanghai and graduated from Fudan University, majoring in International Politics. He has served successively as the Executive Assistant to the President of Fudan University, and the Director of President's Office and the Director of International Programs, Director General of Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai Municipal Government, and Vice Minister of Taiwan Affairs Office of CCCPC and Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council. During his career, he pursued graduate study at the Rockefeller College of Political Science of the State University of New York, and then advanced study as a Fulbright scholar at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.
Mr. Zhou Mingwei is currently serving as Director (Vice Minister) of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration, Member of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Member of the Fifth China-Japan Friendship Committee for the 21st Century, Vice President of China Eco-Culture Association and Executive Member of the Council of the Confucius Institute Headquarters.
