The main part of this exhibition features the theme of endeavor, independence and benevolence. This collection of Pan's 200 artworks includes oil painting, color ink, woodcut painting, and sketches, with variations in style and themes from different periods.
The exhibition area "Art in Life" allows visitors to have a closer look at articles inspired by Pan's aristic works. The last exhibition area elaborates on the protection and repairment of Pan's oil paintings.
Pan Yuliang was one of the most famous Chinese female painters who studied in Paris in the earlier times. She created a mixed style by integrating delicate lines of Chinese calligraphy into western paintings, while introducing the bold use of bright colors and other artistic techniques into Chinese ink painting.
The exhibition will run from August 16 to November 15.
