Charming Daddy and Mummy, a contest for middle-aged and senior citizens, started on Monday in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province.

Shanxi Evening News reported that the contest attracted more than 600 people who are over 50 years old. Participants feel free to choose to participate in any of the contest's ten options, including singing, dancing, and martial arts.
