China's famous dancer Chen Ailian held a special performance to mark the 55th anniversary of her career in Beijing on Thursday. 

Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of CPPCC expressed his congratulations to Chen Ailian, China's famous dancer, for her remarkable career as a dancer in Beijing on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2008.

 Xinhua News Agency reported that Jia Qinglin, chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC watched the wonderful performance and expressed his congratulations to Chen's remarkable achievement.

Chen, a renowned performer of both classical and folk dance and a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), has dedicated her life to dancing since the age of 12.
