Young Chinese artists will celebrate the Chinese New Year with a performance at the Golden Hall in Vienna on Jan. 29, the China Foreign Culture Group Company (CFCGC) has announced.

It will be the first ever collective show of Chinese youth at the venue.

They will perform 21 original works, including a pop song, ballet, collective dance, Spanish dance, piano solo, and drama.

All the performances have won awards in state-level youth talent shows and have been broadcast by China Central Television (CCTV).

Gu Xiulian, vice-chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, and Martin Sajdik, Austrian ambassador to China, sent their best wishes for the event.

The event would strengthen the communication between Chinese youth and the world, said a CFCGC spokesman.
