The Fifth China International Tea Exposition opened Friday in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province.
The four-day tea expo, hosted by the Hangzhou branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, has attracted over 230 tea-related enterprises from 10 countries and regions.
A trade fair will also be held during the expo, which is expected to attract many business people as well as Hangzhou citizens.
China was the first country to plant tea trees. To date, China's tea production accounts for 26 percent of the world's total.
