The company that produced the prize-winning film Farewell My Concubine starring the late Hong Kong star Leslie Cheung will again publish VCDs and DVDs of the movie.
The profits will be donated to a US medical institute that engages in research on hypochondria.
Earlier, Leslie Cheung's niece said her uncle committed suicide because he was a severe hypochondriac.
Farewell My Concubine was the first time for Cheung to play a homosexual, which was also his gender identity in real life.
Directed by Chen Kaige, the film has won several international awards, including the 1993 Golden Palm at the Cannes International Film Festival.
