An intermediate website of the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) will be launched on July 13, at the 2nd anniversary of the city's success in winning the right to host the Games.
The website is constructed in line with the Hosting City Contract signed by Beijing and the International Olympic Committee (IOC), BOCOG said in a press release.
After the upgrade, BOCOG's official website will provide more advanced information and network services. Olympic news can be read in such languages as English, French and Chinese.
According to IOC requirements, the intermediate website will be upgraded to the sports website in April 2008.
