The fourth Shanghai International Magic Festival and Competition closed on Nov.18. Following the dazzling shows of magic skill, the final results have now come out. Most of the prizes were won by young Chinese magicians.
During the two-day competition, more than 40 magicians from home and abroad pulled out all stops for the judges and audience. Inspiration came in the form of youth, with Chinese youngster Liu Mingya, who is only 22 years old, scooping the gold medal for stage magic.
The average age of the competitors is only 20 years old. Most of the winners are up-and-coming youngsters.
