The Chinese Writers' Publishing Group, the largest in the country, was established in this national capital Monday, comprising the Writers' Publishing House, nine literature periodicals, and a website operated by the Chinese Writer's Association.
The new group, which is under the leadership of the association, will operate in accordance with market law. It faces both opportunities and challenges, said Zheng Shengyou, head of the Management Committee of the group.
The group plans to set up a studio, distribution company, and an advertising company, and meanwhile, and it will expand by merging newspapers and magazines.
