Following its massive popularity in Shanghai, the World Carnival is set to arrive in Beijing this June. The internationally acclaimed entertainment troupe will add to the capital's Olympic celebrations. The world's largest mobile amusement park is expected to spur a new entertainment craze in Beijing. The organizers say they may turn it into an annual event before the Olympic arrive in 2008.
Originating in Europe, this mobile entertainment is wildly popular in Western countries. Covering 50,000 square meters, the carnival features more than 150 entertainment programs and people are spoilt for choice with the vast array of visual, aural and culinary attractions.
Hans Lodders, founder of World Carnival said, "I am very please and proud that I brought World Carnival to Beijing and I think it's especially significant to serve as part of the Olympic celebration. In addition, I also prepare some world's No,1 games to Chinese people, which have just been developed."
The World Carnival will last 45 days. In addition to the set programs, tailor-made creations, such as local folk art, have been added to appeal to Chinese.
