Exchange Visit by Xinjiang Children to Beijing
Adjust font size:  ZoomIn ZoomOut

Forty children from poor families in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region started a free trip to Beijing today.

The sponsors, the Xinjiang Children's Development Center, say the kids will undergo training, visit famous universities, ancient relics and buildings until February 12. The aim is to expand their vision and minds and promote the need to study.

The center also plans to arrange for 360 Beijing children to visit Urumqi, capital of the region, and exchange studying and living experiences with urban children.
