A fund-raising activity to help students from impoverished families has been held since Tuesday in Harbin, in China's northeastern Heilongjiang Province.

The activity was jointly organized by the local Communist Youth League of China, the Hope Project Office and the Youth Federation.

Poor students will receive helping funds from the activity.
