The 7th Chinese Music Media Awards was held in Hong Kong on Saturday night.

Pop star Eason Chan won the flagship award as "Entertainer of the Year", as well as the best Cantonese male singer award.

Hong Kong entertainer Miriam Yeung also won two titles: the "Chinese Media Award" and "Favorite Female Singer".

Super girl turned full-time singer He Jie was crowned the country's most-welcomed new singer of the year.

The awards were co-hosted by mainland newspaper Southern Metropolitan News, Hong Kong TV station Metro Showbiz, and various Hong Kong civil administration organizations.
