Mr. Bean's Golden Week
, probably the last film of the Mr. Bean series, opens in Chinese theatres on Friday.

It's the first time that the funny English guy is put on Chinese big screen.

The film, originally named Mr. Bean's Holiday, tells about Mr. Bean's adventures in France.

He wins a lottery and travels to the European country for free during the Cannes Film Festival.

There the small Englishman meets two big friends – the son of a Russian director and an unknown French actress. Together they spend an amazing fun journey.

The film has been a hit when released in its homeland in March, topping the box office as soon as it premiered. It proved equally popular in Hong Kong in April.

Actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson has been quoted in media reports as saying it could be his last time playing Mr. Bean.
