Chinese singer Hu Yanbin performs at the launch ceremony of his new album "Men's Songs" in Beijing on Wednesday, November 21, 2007.

One of China's most popular singers under EMI, a major international music company, R&B prince Hu Yanbin released his fifth album as well as his own label on Wednesday.

Norman Cheng, chairman of EMI Music Asia, and Michael Hwang, president of EMI Music China, were both at the ceremony in Beijing to inaugurate Hu Yanbin's "Feng Feng Huo Huo" (Wind and Fire) label.

The new album, entitled "Men's Songs," is the first record released under the label. Hu Yanbin said his next plan is to help more young talented people achieve their singing dream.

However, Hu Yanbin said it is not going to be just a music label. It will also help release productions in the fields of film and fashion design, and anything else that he takes an interest in.

The singer also signed a contract to kick-start his acting career in the big-screen debut of Taiwan Golden Melody Awards' best music video director Kuang Sheng.
