A unique Geological park has opened in Luochuan County of north China's Shanxi province.
Luochuan Country, located on the Loess Plateau, has complete stratums and multiple fossils preserved within the loosely packed yellow sediment known as Loess.
The area contains information on climate and environment change in each of the accumulated layers of loess.
Officials say China has approved 85 state-level geological across the country.
