There's usually continuous rain around Taihu Lake in June and July. The huge lake sits to the west of Shanghai and is south of the Yangtze River. Meanwhile, there are also plans to strengthen management controls over pollution in the area, to ensure the quality of drinking water for Shanghai residents and people in the city of Wuxi.
