The density of nitrobenzene continues to drop in the Donggang section of the Chinese part of the Heilongjiang River, 152 km away from upper stream of Fuyuan section.
According to a report released by China's State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA) Thursday, the nitrobenzene was measured by 7 a.m. Wednesday at a density of 0.0149 mg per liter in the Donggang section of Helongjiang River of Chinese side.
At 4 AM Thursday, the chemical was tested at a concentration of 0.0494 mg per liter in Chinese side's Fuyuan section, while in the Bacha section, 49 km upstream of Fuyuan, the chemical was measured by 1 PM Wednesday at a density of 0.0468 mg per liter.
