Picture taken on September 28, 2006 shows the opening ceremony of the National Geopark in Guanling Buyi and Miao Autonomous County, southwest China's Guizhou Province. Guanling boasts of its abundant heritage sites and ancient fossils. Some of Guanling County's ancient fossils date back 230 million years ago making them of great importance to research and highly valued.
