FEBRUARY - Reached first career singles QF in first event of season at Hyderabad, defeating Nemeckova in 1r and No.6 seed Tanasugarn in next match before loss to No.2 seed Groenefeld; finished as runner-up in doubles (w/Li) for second straight year at Hyderabad, falling to countrywomen Yan/Zheng.
APRIL - Captured first doubles title of season at Estoril (w/Li), defeating Krajicek/Nagyova in championship match; went 3-0 in doubles action (w/Li) to advance China to World Group II Playoffs.
MAY - Reached SF in doubles at Rabat (w/Li).
JUNE - Finished as runner-up in doubles (w/Li) at $50K ITF/Beijing-CHN.
