Human resources development is one of the priorities of China-Africa cooperation.
Until now, China has accepted more than 15,000 African students to study in China and sent more than 500 Chinese teachers to African countries. Intercollegiate exchange and cooperation has been established between 27 African universities and their Chinese counterparts.
China has signed to 10 inter-governmental agreements with African countries on scientific and technological cooperation and has conducted with Africa many research projects in areas such as agriculture, medicine, biology and photoelectric technologies.
Over the years, China has provided more than 1,500 scholarships annually for African countries and organized seminars and training courses in diversified forms in China and Africa, training more than 1,000 African professionals.
With our joint efforts, Chinese-African human resource development and cooperation is becoming more diversified in form and more fruitful in result.
