Northwest China: In the coming week, northern Xinjiang will be overcast with rain. From August 20 to 23, eastern parts can expect light rain, turning moderate in some areas. From August 24 to 25, eastern parts will be cloudy with showers in some areas. On August 26, northern Xinjiang will see light to moderate rain, turning heavy in some areas.

 

North China: From August 20 to 22, most parts will be sunny to cloudy, though some areas of the western parts will experience showers. From August 23 to 24, most parts will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers but the northern parts will experience heavy rain, escalating to deluge with strong winds in some areas. From August 25 to 26, most parts will be sunny to cloudy with showers or thundershowers in some areas.

 

Northeast China: From August 20 to 21, most parts will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers but some areas of the mid-eastern parts will experience heavy rain with strong wind. From 22 to 23, most parts will be sunny. From August 24 to 26, most parts can expect light to moderate rain or thundershowers but some parts will see heavy rain, turning to deluge with strong winds in some areas.

 

Central China: From August 20 to 22, mid-western parts of the region will be cloudy with showers in some areas; northeastern sections will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers. From August 23 to 26, northern parts will be sunny and hot but the mid-southern parts will experience light to moderate rain, escalating to downpour in some areas.

 

East China: From August 20 to 22, the areas south of Huaihe River will see moderate to heavy rain or thundershowers. Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi and some coastal areas will experience downpours, turning to deluge with force 5 to 7 winds in some areas or force 8 to 10 winds in some coastal areas. From August 23 to 26, most of the areas south of the Yangtze River can expect light to moderate rain but Jiangxi and parts of Hunan will experience heavy rain to deluge, even escalating to torrential rain in some areas.

 

South China: From August 20 to 22, most parts will see light to moderate rain or thundershowers, but eastern and southern sections as well as the coastal areas will experience heavy rain, turning to deluge with force 6 to 8 wind in some areas. From August 23 to 26, northern and western sections can expect light to moderate rain or thundershowers, turning to heavy rain or deluge with strong winds in some areas.

 

Southwest China: From August 20 to 23, most parts will be overcast with light rain or showers, turning moderate or heavy in some areas. From August 24 to 26, eastern Tibet, Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, Sichuan, and some sections of Chongqing will see light rain or showers, turning moderate or heavy in some areas.
