China regional final of the 18th World Miss University Contest with the theme of "praying for peace and transmission of beauty" has been launched in Shenzhen on Sept. 4.

Thirty female university students who have been chosen into the final gathered at the Lotus Mountain Park and participated in the promotion event for Shenzhen's bidding to host the 26th World University Summer Games and the 10,000-signature event to support the bidding.
