A women forum will be held on the sideline of the China-ASEAN summit, scheduled for Oct. 31 in south China's Nanning City, the All-China Women's Federations said Wednesday.
The forum, the first of its kind between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), will last two days in the capital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Federation, sponsor of the forum, said.
The Federation's President Gu Xiulian, also a senior legislator of the country and president of the China-ASEAN Association will attend the forum and give a speech.
The Princess of Brunei, ministers in charge of women affairs, heads of women organizations and women entrepreneurs from the countries are expected to attend the forum.
The forum will pass a declaration to outline the cooperation between women of China and the ASEAN nations on various fields, such as the economic construction and social and cultural development.
