A photo exhibition to mark the 100th birthday of the late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping opened at China Centennial Altar in Beijing on Wednesday.
The exhibition, titled "Deng Xiaoping in Beijing," features more than 260 photos and 100 documents, stamps and commemorative coins.
On show are some dozen photos of Deng touring Beijing in a minibus, which have never before been displayed in public.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Publicity Department and Party History Research Office of the Beijing Committee of the Communist Party of China, and the Archive Bureau of the Beijing Government, will close on Aug. 31, 2004.
