Lesotho army chief reiterated Monday that the country will adhere to the one-China policy and relevant principles.
T. Motanyane, commander of armed forces of Lesotho, made the remark when meeting Chinese defense minister Cao Gangchuan and Chief of General Staff of People's Liberation Army Liang Guanglie.
Cao and Liang briefed the commander about the Anti-Secession Law approved by China's parliament on March 14.
Motanyane said Lesotho will stick to the one-China policy and relevant principles, and China's ultimate and complete reunification will make bigger contribution to global peace.
China appreciated Lesotho's adherence to the one-China policy, said Cao, adding that China is willing to develop an all-round cooperation between the two armed forces.
Thanking China for its assistance to Lesotho's armed forces, Motanyane said he hopes for more cooperation and exchange between the two armed forces.
