China's 6th-generation director Jia Zhangke has led an international panel in deciding the winners of the just-concluded Torino International Film festival in Italy.
He performed a similar role last month in South Korea's Seoul International Short Film Expo.
Argentina's Los Muertos, directed by Lisandro Alonso, claimed the Best Film award while French director Abdellatif Kechiche was honored as Best Director for his film L'esquive.
The Torino Film Festival aims to constitute a meeting point for contemporary international cinema and provides a platform for discussion on all its perspectives and artistic trends.
The Festival pays particular attention to emerging filmmakers.
