Hong Kung director Stephen Chou plans to shoot Kung Fu Hustle II in Shanghai in September. The film will cost $15 million.

The strained relationship between Stephen Chou and Huang Shengyi had no influence on the shooting of the film.

The fat landlady Yuan Qiu and her husband Yuan Hua will continue staring in the film. As for the heroine, it is still unknown whether Huang will star in it.

The film is scheduled to finish shooting before the end of 2005 due to the cold weather in Shanghai.
