Building on the success of his new album All About Love, Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau will be meeting his Shenzhen fans at the screening of the film All About Love.
Starring Lau, who has invested 10 million yuan (US$1.23 million) in the production, the movie opens today in Shenzhen. The Hong Kong singer and actor will be appearing at Golden Harvest, New South Movie City, Jindun Movie and Sun Plaza with co-star Charlie Yeung.
In All About Love, Lau plays two roles, hairdresser and doctor, while Yeung and Charlene Choi play his wives.
This is not Lau's first film venture. "I thought about it carefully before investing in this production," Lau said. He describes the film as "a touching story about love and promise. There are a lot of problems between men and women that can be solved but are left unsettled. They need to communicate to understand each other."
A 10-episode broadcasting play series and cartoons based on All About Love are set for release soon.
