Director Ang Lee is chosen as the world's most influential people in the Artists and Entertainer category by US news magazine Time.

 

 

In an online poll, Time asks visitors to choose who they think is the world's most influential person from a list of 10 nominees.

 

Ang Lee tops the poll with 34% votes going to him. Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi ranks 4th with 8% support. South Korean pop star Rain is also in the list, together with singer Daddy Yankee, Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling, and actors Clint Eastwood and George Clooney. 　　

 

The weekly designates the so-called Time 100 in five different categories every year, but this year for the first time it has asked visitors to the magazine's webpage to vote on who they think are the most influential.
