Hong Kong veteran actor Kwan Hoi-Shan died on Monday morning at the age of 82.
Kwan faded out from the Hong Kong film and TV circle when he began suffering from cerebral palsy in 2001.
Born in 1924, Kwan Hoi-Shan entered the spotlight at the age of 11 and is most familiar to Chinese audiences for his roles as father and tycoon in many masterpieces, including Cold Blood Warm Heart in 1996 and Feud of the Two Brothers.
Most Hong Kong stars and celebrities expressed their sorrow for the passing of "Uncle Shrimp," the nickname of Kwan Hoi-Shan, who is known as one of the backbones of the Hong Kong entertainment circle.
