A new movie called "Baober in Love" will be shown nationwide on Valentine's Day, February 14th.
Though the film has not yet been publicly released, it has received invitations from six film festivals, including the Berlin International Film Festival, the Cannes Film Festival and Hong Kong International Film Festival.
The young movie star, Zhou Xun, well-known among Chinese people, has a major role in the film.
The buzz is that "Baober in Love," directed by Li Shaohong may garner awards at the Venice film festival.
The picture depicts a complicated relationship between Liu Zhi, a man tired of material life, and Baober, a girl with whom he falls in love with at first sight.
The movie has garnered a lot of publicity since filming began because of its large budget, US$5.15 million, and the famed cast and director.
