Pingbei Memorial Hall of Anti-Japanese War

Located at the entrance to the famous Longqingxia Scenic Spot of Beijing, the memorial hall was officially opened to the public in July, 1997. It covers an area of 550 square meters and has 130-meter-long exhibition line.

The title of the hall was inscribed by Xiao Ke, Chief of Staff of the PLA. The memorial hall has been designated as one of 100 patriotism education bases in China, one of the Youth Education Bases and one of Martyr Memorial Architectures under the protection of Beijing Municipal Government.

The hall mainly displays the history that the Pingbei people fought against Japanese invasion from March 1933 to September 1945. It is an important base for the people to know the history, respect the martyrs, and accept revolution and patriotism education. It presents to the audience a chapter in the annals of anti-Japanese war conducted by the great Chinese People. Hard struggles, considerable sacrifices, heroic wars will be recorded forever.

Admission Fee: 5 Yuan; 2.5 Yuan for primary and middle school students; free for the retired people, the senior citizens, army men, the disabled and comrade units.
