China Revises Law for Disabled People

China has started to revise the Law on Disabled people in order to better protect their rights.

The current Law on Disabled, which was implemented in 2001, is the first law in China that protects the rights of handicapped people.

Amendments to the law will be made over the next three years.

Under the new law, private enterprises employing handicapped people will enjoy preferential tax breaks.
