A team of 11 Chinese experts on assessment and reconstruction ended their tour of Sri Lanka and the Maldives on Jan.27. During their stay in the two countries, the team met with senior officials for talks on reconstruction involving a damaged-port in Sri Lanka and tsunami-hit houses in the Maldives which China is likely to aid to construct. They also assessed the damages of the two countries objectively and got more knowledge on how to provide concrete help to the countries.
