The airplane was painted with the expo's green and orange emblem with the theme "Better City, Better Life."
Song Chao, the leader of the Shanghai team in charge of the overseas promotion, arrived in Tokyo on the World Expo plane and said Japan is the first stop of the Shanghai World Expo's overseas promotional activities.
He added the World Expo airliner not only carries the theme of this expo, but also expresses the Chinese people's warm welcome to people across the world to attend the expo.
