Huang Huahua and Xie Qianghua have been appointed as deputy governors of south China's Guangdong Province, while Ou Guangyuan has been removed from his post as deputy governor of the province.
The appointment followed voting on Sunday at the 37th Session of the Standing Committee of the Ninth Guangdong Provincial People's Congress.
Before the appointment, Huang Huahua served as deputy secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), secretary of the CPC Guangzhou City Committee, and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou City People's Congress, and Xie Qianghua as secretary of the CPC Meizhou City Committee in Guangdong Province.
