Hong Kong and Macao Chief Executives, respectively Tung Chee Hwa and Edmund Ho Hau Wah have expressed their confidence in the development of these two Special Administrative Regions.
Tung Chee Hwa says although Hong Kong faces many challenges in its economic restructuring, efforts to revive its economy are beginning to bear fruit and have laid a solid foundation for future development. Moreover, the Policy Address of the Hong Kong government has mapped out a clear path for its economic revival, which has won widespread public recognition and support.
Tung Chee Hwa says Hong Kong is set to sail towards a clearer horizon in the New Year.
Edmund Ho Hau Wah says the hard working attitude and pragmatic spirit of Macau citizens are the foundations of its future success. The entire community of Macau will work harder to push forward its economic development in the New Year.
