Adjust font size:

China and Georgia will further enhance their cooperation in combating terrorism, according to a joint statement signed in Beijing.

President Hu Jintao and visiting Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili signed the statement after their talks on Tuesday.

Saakashvili arrived in Beijing Monday for his first official state visit to China since taking office.

The two countries condemn and resolutely oppose terrorism, separatism and extremism in any form, and will enhance their cooperation to crackdown on the "three forces" within the framework of the United Nations Charter and relevant pacts, the statement says.

The two countries agreed to provide support and assistance for the law-enforcement and security, according to the statement.
