The second meeting of the China-Mexico Permanent Bi-national Commission concluded Friday in Mexico City with the signing of several agreements on bilateral cooperation, including the Joint Action Program 2006-2010.

Speaking at a joint press conference, both Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Ernesto Derbez and Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing spoke highly of what has been achieved during the two-day meeting.

The Joint Action Program 2006-2010, they stressed, is of great significance to the guidance of China-Mexico cooperation in the long run and to the promotion of the full development of bilateral strategic partnership.

They pointed out that the two countries will make joint efforts to materialize the program as well as other documents signed during the meeting, so as to promote a sound, continued and deepened bilateral cooperation for the benefit of the two countries and the two peoples, and for the common development of South-South Cooperation and the world at large.

The Chinese delegation headed by the Chinese foreign minister arrived in Mexico City Wednesday and will travel to Bahamas on Friday.
