China's top legislator Wu Bangguo arrived in Moscow on Sunday to continue his four-day official goodwill visit to Russia.
During his stay here, Wu, chairman of the Standing Committee of China's National People's Congress (NPC), will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov.
He will also hold talks with Russian Federation Council (upper house) Chairman Sergei Mironov and State Duma (lower house) Chairman Boris Gryzlov respectively on bilateral ties, international and regional issues of common concerns.
Wu will attend the first meeting of the cooperation committee between the NPC and the State Duma
He will also attend a meeting among parliament leaders from the six members of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) to be held in Moscow on Tuesday.
Wu arrived here from Volgograd, Russia. Russia is the last leg of Wu's four-nation tour which has already taken him to Romania, Moldova and Greece.
